About This Project
The strawberry belongs, from a botanical point of view, to the compound fruits. Nevertheless, it is regarded as the queen of berries on account of its delicious aroma. The vibrant red fruit is also low on calories and contains lots of essential vitamins and minerals. Strawberries are exceptionally sensitive to bruising and therefore slightly perishable, which is why we are particularly careful when picking the fruit and ensure short transport times. Our strawberries are picked from the end of May to the beginning of August.
